Metal Fabrication
Custom metal fabrication — welding, cutting, forming, and repair for gates, brackets, frames, and structural components.
Our fabrication shop produces custom metalwork to specification. In-house capability means quality control, schedule flexibility, and the ability to handle everything from a single bracket to a production run of gate frames.

What We Do
- Custom gate frame fabrication
- Structural steel welding and assembly
- Brackets, mounts, and hardware fabrication
- Cutting — plasma, saw, and shear
- Forming and bending for frames and decorative elements
- Repair fabrication for damaged metalwork
Best Fit For
- Custom gate projects with specific designs
- Projects requiring non-standard brackets or components
- Repairs needing matched replacement parts
- Contractors needing fabrication support without investing in shop equipment
- Architects and designers with custom metal specifications
- Anyone needing metalwork fabricated and powder coated under one roof
How We Deliver
- Design review and shop drawing development
- Material procurement and preparation
- Cutting, forming, and welding to specification
- Dimensional inspection throughout fabrication
- Surface preparation and powder coating
- Quality inspection and careful packaging
Why In-House Fabrication Matters
Controlling fabrication means controlling quality and schedule. When we build components in our own shop, we control every detail — material selection, weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and finish preparation. Nothing leaves until it meets our standards.
In-house fabrication also means items go straight from welding to blasting to coating without shipping between facilities. This saves time, reduces handling damage, and ensures the freshly blasted surface gets coated promptly.
Shop Capabilities
Our fabrication shop handles the full range of metalwork. Cutting equipment includes saws, plasma cutters, and shears for different materials and applications. Forming equipment bends and shapes material for frames and decorative elements. Welding stations accommodate work from light ornamental to heavy structural.
Qualified fabricators do the work. Welding requires skill developed through training and experience. Metal layout demands precision and spatial understanding. Our fabricators know their trade and take pride in their work.
- Plasma and saw cutting to precise dimensions
- Forming and bending for frames and decorative elements
- MIG, TIG, and stick welding as appropriate
- Drilling, punching, and tapping for hardware prep
- Full assembly and dimensional verification before finishing
Materials We Work With
Steel is our primary material — tube, pipe, angle, flat bar, and plate in various sizes and gauges. Mild steel fabricates readily and takes powder coat well. Galvanized steel provides corrosion resistance for certain applications.
Aluminum offers advantages for some applications. Lighter weight reduces handling loads. Natural corrosion resistance suits coastal environments. We fabricate aluminum components, though the techniques differ from steel and the material costs more.
Stainless steel serves specialized requirements where maximum corrosion resistance is needed. We have the capability when specifications require it.
- Steel tube and pipe for gate frames and structures
- Steel angle and flat bar for components
- Steel plate for mounting and reinforcement
- Aluminum for lightweight and corrosion-resistant applications
- Stainless steel for specialty applications
Repair and Replacement Fabrication
Not all fabrication is new construction. Damaged gates and components need repair or replacement. Missing or obsolete parts need reproduction. Our shop handles this work as readily as new fabrication.
Matching existing work requires attention to detail. We measure existing components, match materials and dimensions, and fabricate replacements that fit. The goal is repairs that are indistinguishable from original construction.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the lead time for custom fabrication?
- Standard lead time is typically 2–4 weeks from approved drawings to completion, depending on complexity and current shop workload. Simple items may be faster. We provide specific timelines at quote.
- Can you fabricate from my drawings?
- Yes. If you provide adequate drawings or sketches showing dimensions and details, we can fabricate to your design. If your design needs development, we can help translate concepts into buildable shop drawings.
- Do you handle small jobs?
- Yes. Single brackets, repair pieces, and one-off items are part of our regular work. Minimum charges may apply to very small jobs, but we do not turn away work based on size.
- Is powder coating included with fabrication?
- Powder coating is typically quoted as part of the complete project but can be quoted separately. Having fabrication and coating under one roof simplifies logistics and ensures the best result.
