How Contractor Relationships Work
Contractor relationships work on clear terms. You provide specifications; we fabricate and/or coat to them. Your customers remain yours. We do not market to your customers or compete for your projects. Our services exist to support contractors, not undercut them.
We function as your powder coating department without the overhead of equipment, facility, and staff. You get professional coating capability without the capital investment. For many contractors, this is more economical and practical than building in-house coating capability.
Coating-Only Services
The most common contractor service is coating-only: you fabricate the items, deliver them to us, and we blast, prep, and coat them. Items come back finished and ready for your customer.
For coating-only work, items must arrive clean enough to handle and with any masking requirements clearly marked. We handle surface preparation (blasting), but removing heavy oil, grease, or other contamination before delivery improves results and reduces cost.
Complete Fabrication and Coating
Some contractors need items built from scratch. Provide drawings or specifications and we fabricate, finish, and deliver complete items. This is common for gates, brackets, structural components, and custom metalwork.
Complete services are particularly valuable for contractors who do not have fabrication capability, or who are at capacity in their own shop. We can absorb overflow work and handle specialty items that require equipment you may not have.
Volume and Ongoing Relationships
Ongoing relationships bring advantages for both sides. We learn your preferences, quality expectations, and common color requirements. Repeat work flows smoothly with less back-and-forth. Volume may bring pricing benefits.
We track color specifications and preferences for regular customers. When you reorder, we already know your standard colors and finishes. This consistency eliminates color matching issues across projects.
Confidentiality
We understand that contractors who use our services do not want us contacting their customers. Your customer information stays confidential. We do not solicit business from your customers, and we do not discuss your projects with anyone outside our shop.
When your customers pick up items at our shop, we represent the work as yours, not ours. Stickers, labels, and packaging can be neutral or carry your branding. The relationship between you and your customer is yours to manage.
